Sonamus means ‘We play’
Sonamus are a Wicklow-based group which combine the talents of four highly-respected Irish musicians from the Traditional, Classical and Early music worlds dedicated to exploring Irish music in its various forms and across historical period. The group has a unique blend of instruments allowing for the innovative interpretation of Irish music from across the centuries.

For this special concert they will be joined by Wicklow-based soprano and tenor Toni Walsh and Anthony Norton. Both singers are widely experienced having sung with the National Symphony Orchestra, Opera Theatre Company, Opera Ireland and have recorded and performed for RTE television and radio, Wexford Opera House and many more.
Expect an evening of Traditional music, Baroque Irish music, Seasonal songs, Lute song and a few surprises.
